Reviews from concert attendees
His ballads of love left me devastated and bereft. Andy sings with a passion that broke my heart. It was like listening to the personal stories of a very gentle man. The Irishman of the duo, Gerry O'Beirne, made one guitar sound like it was three guitars. His original material was of a Celtish Irish ilk, but it was the cheeky bluesy twang that surprised and delighted us. Irish jigs they were not, and the Celtic genre has certainly taken a contemporary shaking up in Gerry's engaging songs. Together the two men sounded as if they have always played in duo. Find their CD's for some fun and some passion, and make them come back again.

Sandgate Community NewsMy husband and I attended a performance of Andy and Gerry on their last North American tour. It was fantastic! We got far more than we expected. We expected great singing, but were unprepared for Andy's wonderful story telling and devastatingly funny observations of American culture. We came to hear Andy perform, but ended up as great fans of Gerry O'Beirne as well. Gerry's a fine artist in his own right, and the combination of Andy's singing/storytelling and Gerry's playing is an experience you won't soon forget...we haven't! We hope they will continue making CDs and touring together. We'd love to see them perform together again.
